My name is Tabitha Quesada and I am a happily married mother of four. My children range in ages from sixteen to four so I stay very busy. I worked in the banking field for six years but have always had the desire to be a nurse because of my love for helping others and making a difference in the field of science. In the fall of 2011, I was finally able to pursue my professional dreams. While attending my classes I also provide tutoring to fellow students. I am currently in my second year of nursing courses and will be graduating from Gaston College in May 2015 with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. After I complete this degree, I plan to complete any remaining prerequisites that are needed before applying to Appalachian State’s Bachelors of Nursing program. While I am finishing my Bachelor’s, I hope to work as a registered nurse in a hospital setting. My ultimate dream is to become a Certified Nurse Midwife.
